The inventory contains information for projects funded through the ERA as well as other projects that meet minimum monitoring requirements. Restoration practitioners may enter information about their projects into the database using a user-friendly Web site. In addition, NOAA is taking an active role in compiling project data by working with other federal agencies, state governments, regional organizations and nonprofit groups to expand the scope of the inventory, allowing it to ultimately function as a national clearinghouse for restoration project information.
